Coolnvintage was founded in Lisbon in 2012 by Ricardo Pessoa, from a place of devotion for enduring objects, honest materials and the quiet discipline of making things well.

The Land Rover was shaped by use. Its value lies in that honesty.

Our work is to understand what should remain, recognise what must change, and rebuild each vehicle so it can grow old again, properly.

Innovation must be in service of continuity.

We try to leave as much of the original object as possible, and as little of ourselves. Nothing unnecessary should survive the work.

That requires time, restraint and a method.

We move slowly because speed leaves fingerprints.

Much of quality is invisible, but never accidental.

Our aim is to give these Land Rovers another sixty years without erasing the first.
